The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for the following position of Salary Scale W3 NBesO starting October 1st, 2023:

 

University Professorship (m/f/d) - Salary Scale W3 NBesO - for Distribited Real-time Systems

 

The Position

  • represents the topic of distributed real-time systems,
  • complements the research focus of the faculty and creates new synergies with its cross-sectional topic,
  • has a research range from real-time communication, real-time signal processing, or real-time control, constructive methods for distributed real-time systems, hard- and software architectures for real-time systems, analytical and constructive methods to guarantee worst-case bounds (time, energy) and their verifiability, to adaptive and composable real-time systems with applications in medical technology, vehicular technology, industrial control, and robotics,
  • designated courses shall be held in German and English language.

  • Several years of experience in the specified research areas
  • Internationally recognized, outstanding research performance
  • Third party funding experience
  • Proven teaching experience and quality
  • Ability to teach courses in the English language
  • Willingness to relocate the main residence to the Hannover region.
