The Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Science invites applications for a


University Professorship (m/w/d) of Salary Scale W 3 NBesO
in Architectural Design and Resources


The position is to be filled at the earliest opportunity.
The professorship will oversee the subject area Architectural Design and Building Design with particular consideration of an extended concept of resources and will aid the
development of visible research activities, which will contribute to interdisciplinary positioning of architecture in research on sustainability and in particular to the faculty's
key research area "habitats of tomorrow". With respect to teaching, the professorship will be a key part of design for the degree programmes in the Department of Architecture.
We are looking for an internationally connected individual with outstanding contributions to design and building, equipped with sound academic competence to convey the theoretical and practical knowledge of their field. The successful candidate will be expected to hold selected courses in English. General responsibilities and conditions of appointment apply, in accordance with the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz - NHG). Part-time employment can be arranged upon request.
