Tenure Track University Professorship (Salary Scale W2 NBesO with tenure track leading to W3 NBesO) for Innovation Management

 

starting January 1, 2021. The initial appointment will be limited to 5 years. After positive evaluation, the candidate will receive a tenured professorship (salary scale W3).

 

The job announcement is part of the Joint Federal Government-Länder Tenure-Track Programme to promote junior researchers. It is aimed at young researchers with outstanding potential for a successful academic career.

 

The professorship is expected to strengthen education and research in the field of innovation management. By addressing, in particular, innovation management in new cooperative forms (e.g. innovative ecosystems, open innovation, entrepreneurship in innovation-networks) the professorship complements the area of strategic management. The ideal candidate is expected to have a pronounced interest in research and to be internationally competitive proven by the publication of research outcomes in leading international journals.

Furthermore, the successful candidate is expected to visibly engage in faculty’s research foci within an open-minded faculty concerning the choice of methodological approaches. The candidate is expected to teach in the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programs in English and German and should strive for excellence in teaching while be interested in innovative teaching methods. Experiences in the development and advancement of third-party funded research is desirable.

 

General responsibilities and conditions of appointment apply, in accordance with the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz - NHG). Details will be provided upon request.

 

Part-time employment can be arranged upon request.
