The Faculty of Economics and Management invites applications for a
University Professorship (m/f/d) of Salary Scale W3 NBesO in “Business Administration with a focus on Insurances and Health Management”
starting October 1st, 2021. The Professorship belongs to the House of Insurance. We expect a strong cooperation with the further Professorships at the House of Insurance.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate with an active research agenda in the area of insurances (in particular property insurance, insurance of persons and reinsurance) and health management who has experience in raising research funds and the potential to apply for highly ranked research programs. The successful applicant has a strong record of research with publications in the leading journals in the field.
The successful candidate is expected to cooperate with the Hannover Medical School in the Center for Health Economics Research Hannover (CHERH). She or he will also strongly contribute to one of the School’s research foci.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and their qualifications are expected to merit the rank of tenured full professor.
General responsibilities and conditions of appointment apply, in accordance with the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz - NHG).
Part-time employment can be arranged upon request.
